Technology

I was known for my bronze sculptures.

Culture

I had a well-organized system of administration. I inherited the administrative structure from the Guptas, but made it more efficient with new characteristics. I also had a good policy of public-welfare. I had achievements in the arts of architecture, terracotta, sculpture and painting. The Gupta tradition of sculptural art was adapted and became the Pala School of Sculptural Art. Bronze Sculptures of Bengal came to be recognized as matured art. Paintings of the Pala period influenced Eastern Indian, Tibetan and Nepali paintings. There was also the development of Sanskrit language and poetry.

Religion

My Rulers were Buddhists while the majority of the subjects were Hindus. Our missionaries allowed Buddhism to establish in Tibet.
